The Apprentice & Traineeship Co. is a not for profit Group Training Organisation established in the Midwest in 1987, later expanding into the Gascoyne with a second office in Carnarvon in 2001.

As a Group Training Organisation, ATC recruits and employs apprentices & trainees, and hires them out to businesses, called Host Employers. We deal with payroll, pap

erwork and liaise with the numerous agencies that are involved when taking on an apprentice or trainee. This includes, but is not limited to, wages, superannuation, worker's compensation, allowances and incentives, signing up paperwork, lodging of applications and organising off-the-job training with the relevant Registered Training Organisation (RTO). Furthermore, our dedicated Field Officers support all our apprentices & trainees with regards to work, safety and TAFE issues. We have five Midwest Field Officers and two Gascoyne Field Officers who liaise with the apprentices & trainees and the Host Employers, to ensure the process of hiring and training an apprentice or trainee runs as smoothly as possible.
