Group training is an arrangement where a Group Training Organisation (GTO), such as the Apprentice & Traineeship Co., recruits and employs apprentices and trainees, and hires them out to businesses, called Host Employers, while they undertake their training.

So what are the benefits of taking on an apprentice or trainee through the Apprentice & Traineeship Co.?

• We do all the advertising, interviewing and shortlisting of applicants to ensure you have the best 3 or 4 applicants to review and choose from
• We conduct safety inductions on selected applicants and safety checks prior to the commencement of employment to ensure the highest safety standards are adhered to
• We conduct pre-employment drug & alcohol testing and complete medical forms on all new apprentices & trainees
• We manage all the paperwork and deal with the appropriate agencies and training organisations relating to apprentices & trainees
• We are responsible for payroll, worker's compensation, superannuation etc. You simply receive a fortnightly invoice covering the costs of the apprentice or trainee
• We have the ability to remove or replace apprentices or trainees should the need arise
• We provide support to both yourself and your apprentice or trainee through the allocation of an experienced Field Officer, who assists with all work, safety and training issues
